The following Terms and Conditions describe the terms and conditions governing the Maria Callas Gala & Awards website, located at www.mariacallasmonacogala.org, and Maria Callas Gala & Awards Event and purchase of tickets.

The website www.mariacallasmonacogala.org presents all the information related to the Maria Callas Gala & Awards Event (such as, for example, information about the event, its purpose, the non-profit organizing company, tickets, how to buy tickets, etc.).

These are the Terms and Conditions that govern the use of this website and the Maria Callas Gala & Awards Event, the purchase of tickets, and the agreement between you and MC Art Development. The Terms and Conditions describe the rights and obligations of all users regarding the use of our website, their participation in the Maria Callas Gala & Awards Event, and the purchase of tickets.

Access to and use of this website and the ticketing services offered through this website (from now on referred to as the “Services”) as well as the conclusion of a ticketing service agreement is subject to your acceptance and compliance with these Terms and Conditions, which apply to all visitors who visit or use the website.

By navigating the Website and using our Services, you accept all current Terms and Conditions and their occasional updates, which govern our relationship. Event Description

Maria Callas Gala & Awards is a Charity Event, including the Opera Gala and the Artists Award Ceremony. At the same time, all participants will attend a formal dinner.

The organizer of the event is the Non-Profit Company with the name “INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION OF CULTURAL DEVELOPMENT” and the distinctive title ” MC Art Development” (from now on, “Organizer”).

Maria Callas Gala & Awards will be held on May 5, 2022, in Monte Carlo, Monaco, specifically in the Salle Empire of the Hotel Hotel De Paris. The arrival time is set at 17:30.

The Event aims to a) The promotion of Greek visual art abroad, b) the promotion of classical music and opera in Greece and abroad, c) the promotion of young Greek Artists Abroad, and d) support the work of Princess Charlene Foundation Monaco.

The event is charitable and, therefore, non-profit. All proceeds from the event will be donated exclusively to a) the costs of organizing the event, b) the travel and accommodation costs of the artists, and c) supporting the work of the Princess Charlene Foundation Monaco.

Responsible for the event is the representative of MC Art Development, Mrs. Ioanna Efthimiou.

A ticket is required to participate in the Event. The entrance to the Event is allowed only to whoever shows his ticket, and his identity is checked (from now on, “participant”).

Tickets are registered and cannot be exchanged with another person. Only their beneficiary can enter the event. Upon entering the venue, the identity of the participants will be checked. A list of participants will be posted at the entrance of the Event.

Formal clothing is required to enter the Event.

By purchasing the ticket, the participants accept the right of the Organizer to photograph the Event and the Participants and/or to videotape the entire duration or part of the Event. The participants grant to the Organizer the right, without any restriction in terms of time and manner and any consideration, money, or other, to present the photos and/or video recordings of the participants in the Event through the Website and/or accounts on social media of the Organizer, but also in any other space, electronic, print and audiovisual, to promote the Event and the work of the Organizer.

The Organizer does not bear any responsibility for bodily injuries, health problems, accidents, etc., of the participants, visitors, and any third party, either in the Event area or in the surrounding area of the Event, whether they occur during the Event or before or after.

The Organizer is not responsible for any loss, damage, theft, or injury in whole or in part that may occur during the Event to the personal or other items of participants, visitors, and any third party, either at the Event or in the environmental Venue of the Event, whether they occur during the Event or before or after.

The participants are obliged to repair any damage they cause if the Organizer is held accountable to third parties due to acts or omissions of the participants.

The participants are solely responsible for any damage or injury caused by themselves, their employees, their associates, and/or any other person associated with them in any facilities, buildings, floors, in the surrounding area of the Event, and other items in the event space.

Participants must not make any conversion of the premises or arbitrary occupation of space other than the one given to them.

Participants must comply with all safety and hygiene rules.

Participants are required to comply with regulations and recommendations as they are enacted and enforced by the relevant Public Authorities to protect the health of society from an epidemic or pandemic, including the Covid-19 pandemic. Violation of such terms and conditions gives the Organizer the right to refuse the participant’s entry into the event space.

Participants must keep open the passages to the exits and emergency exits and the fire points of the building.

Participants are not allowed to bring bottles, weapons, sharp objects, and anything else that could threaten the safety of other participants, Organizers, and/or employees when entering the Event space. The Organizer reserves the right to control the entrance for security reasons. The introduction and placement of flammable or explosive materials in the Event area are not allowed.

Smoking is not allowed indoors.

Animals are not allowed on the premises of the Event.

It is not allowed to store or create garbage in the corridors or on the Event’s premises.

The Organizer reserves the right to modify these terms governing the Event.

The Organizer reserves the right to change the venue and cancel the Event, informing about it through the Event’s Website, with the date of entry into force of this revocation/modification, the date of publication on the Event’s Website.

Buying a ticket to participate in the Event also means full acceptance of its terms.

The Organizer reserves the right to prohibit participants from entering the event space and expel the participants who do not respect and do not comply with the terms of the Event.

Tickets

A ticket is required to enter the event.

The ticket purchase provides the participants access to the Event program and the seated dinner.

There are two categories of tickets:

  1. A) 500 Euros
  2. B) 800 Euros.

* Tickets of 800 euros provide a privileged place to the participant in VIP tables at the Event.

Tickets are registered and correspond to a specific location at the Event venue, which the Organizer determines.

Tickets can be purchased exclusively in the following ways:

  1. A) Through the website www.mariacallasmonacogala.org/tickets/. Payment can be made:
  • Via credit, debit, and prepaid cards of Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, Diners.
  • Using the Masterpass e-wallet.
  1. B) By order via email, payment of the ticket in the Organizer’s Bank Account.

It is not allowed to resell or, in any other way, transfer the ticket to a third party by the participant who bought it.

After purchasing the ticket, the participant will be able to print and save the ticket in pdf format.

The participant can register as a user at the website. By logging in to his account, he will have access to the ticket, which he will be able to save on his computer in pdf format and print.

Secure Transactions

All payments made using a card are processed through the electronic payment platform “Alpha e-Commerce” of Alpha Bank and uses TLS 1.2 encryption with 128 -bit encryption protocol (Secure Sockets Layer – SSL). Encryption is a way of encrypting information until it reaches its recipient, who will be able to decode it using the appropriate key.

Ticket return policy

Ticket returns are not accepted after purchase and payment. All participants must keep their ticket until the end of the event and show it in case of departure and return to the Event.

Suppose the Event is canceled for any reason, including cancellation due to extreme weather conditions, pandemic, or for reasons of force majeure that do not allow the Event to occur. In that case, there will be an announcement to repeat it at the same venue with the exact tickets. In this case, the return of tickets is not accepted.

If the Event is permanently canceled, there will be an announcement on how to return the ticket price.

Intellectual Property

MC Art Development is the sole owner of all Intellectual Property Rights (Intellectual and Industrial Property) related to its website and its services, including indicative but not restrictive, in any computer program (software) that is part of the website, script, photos, texts, videos, graphics, music, audio, images and any other material on the website (referred to collectively as “Content”).

All information, communications, computer programs, dialogs – scripts, photos, texts, videos, graphics, music, sounds, images, and other materials are on the MC Art Development website (and are collectively referred to as “Content») may be used for informational purposes only. Non-commercial or personal purposes only, provided that you do not modify the content and retain all copyright or other proprietary notices of MC Art Development. You may not use the website’s content for commercial purposes without the prior express written consent of MC Art Development. Illegal and unauthorized copying, misappropriation, or any other use of the Content of this website constitutes a breach of National, European, and/or international law and may be prosecuted under National or EU law. Dispute Resolution

If you have any concerns or disagreements about the Website, you agree to attempt to resolve the dispute primarily informally and amicably with MC Art Development. If this is not possible, you agree to refer the dispute to Mediation according to Greek Law 4640/2019 as in force, as the most appropriate way of out-of-court settlement of the dispute. If the Mediation does not reach an agreement between the parties, only then the party that wishes to address it can go to the Courts.

Applicable Legislation – Competent Courts

The applicable law is Greek Law, and the Athens Courts are exclusively responsible for resolving any dispute that may arise from using the MC Art Development website.

The use of the website may also be subject to European Legislation or International Rules and Conventions in force in Greece.

Separation

Suppose any of the present terms is declared invalid and/or non-existent. In that case, this term will be amended and interpreted in such a way as to fulfill the purpose of the provision to the fullest extent possible under the applicable Greek legislation. In contrast, the remaining terms will be valid and with immediate effect.

Translation – Interpretation

These Terms and Conditions may have been translated into other languages, provided we have made them available on our website.

You agree that the original Greek text shall prevail in case of disagreement.

Amendments to these Terms and Conditions

In our sole discretion, we reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms and Conditions.
